Instrument Panel Assembly: Removal and Installation - Instrument Panel

Removal

CAUTION:

- Be careful not to scratch the instrument panel pad or other parts.
- Before servicing, turn the ignition switch OFF, disconnect both battery terminals and wait at least three minutes.

1) Disconnect the negative and positive battery negative terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
2) Remove the front pillar upper finishers (RH/LH). Refer to [Body Side Trim: Removal and Installation] Body Side Trim Removal and Installation.
3) Remove the center console. Refer to [Center Console: Removal and Installation] Center Console.
4) Remove the combination meter. Refer to [Combination Meter: Removal and Installation] Service and Repair.
5) Remove audio unit. Refer to [Audio Unit: Removal and Installation] Audio Unit (Base audio) or [Audio Unit: Removal and Installation] Audio Unit (Mid - CC, Premium - KC audio).
6) Remove cluster lid D. Refer to [Cluster Lid D: Removal and Installation] Cluster Lid D.
7) Remove the passenger air bag module. Refer to [Front Passenger Air Bag Module: Removal and Installation] Front Passenger Air Bag Module.
8) Remove the instrument stay (RH/LH) bolts.
9) Disconnect all remaining harnesses and connectors.
10) Remove the instrument panel and pad assembly.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
