Manual Transaxle Unit Dismounting and Remounting: Remounting

CAUTION:

Care should be taken not to scratch oil seal lip with drive shaft while raising transaxle.
Do not hit drive shaft joint with hammer when installing it into differential gear.

Reverse dismounting procedure for remounting of transaxle, noting the following points.

Tighten each bolts and nuts to specified torque.
- Front drive shaft see FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY COMPONENT LOCATION :
- Starting motor see STARTING MOTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :
- Front suspension frame:
  - 2WD model see FRONT SUSPENSION FRAME, STABILIZER BAR AND/OR BUSH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (2WD MODEL) :
  - 4WD model see FRONT SUSPENSION FRAME, STABILIZER BAR AND/OR BUSH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (4WD MODEL) :
- Mounting member see ENGINE MOUNTINGS COMPONENTS :
- Clutch housing lower plate see OIL PAN AND OIL PUMP STRAINER COMPONENTS :
- Manual transaxle see MANUAL TRANSAXLE UNIT COMPONENTS :
- Engine left mounting bracket see ENGINE MOUNTINGS COMPONENTS :
- Engine left mounting ENGINE MOUNTINGS COMPONENTS :
- Engine front mounting member see TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS :
Set each clamp for wiring securely.
Fill transaxle oil.
Connect battery and check function of engine, clutch and transaxle.
