Toe Adjustment
CAUTION:
- Never adjust only right or left tie-rod, be sure to adjust both tie-rods by same amount.
- Make sure that rack boot is not twisted. Otherwise, rack boot may be broken.
- Check tie-rod length referring to TIE-ROD END INITIAL POSITION SETTING
(Hydraulic Type) or TIE-ROD END INITIAL POSITION SETTING
(Electric Type).
If necessary, adjust tie-rod length.
- Loosen tie-rod end lock nuts.
- Adjust right and left tie-rods by same amount to align toe to specification.
- After adjustment, tighten lock nuts to specified torque referring to TIE-ROD END REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (Hydraulic Type) or TIE-ROD END REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (Electric Type).
