DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Wire harness check 
  1. Check the following points.
    • "A1", "A2" and "A3" circuits: Refer to Step 2 through 5 of DTC P2122/P2123 .
    • "B1", "B2" and "B3" circuits: Refer to Step 2 through 5 of DTC P2127/P2128 .

Are they in good condition? 		 Go to step 3. Repair or replace defective wire harness.
3  APP sensor check 
  1. Check APP sensor, see APP SENSOR INSPECTION .

Is it in good condition? 		 Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Replace accelerator pedal assembly (with APP sensor), see ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY (INCORPORATING APP SENSOR) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
