DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Does starting motor operate?  Go to Step 3. Check starting motor and its circuit.
Starting motor: STARTING MOTOR INSPECTION
Starting motor circuit: CRANKING SYSTEM SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS
3  Engine start signal check 
  1. Check that circuit voltage between "A1" circuit of "E01" connector and ground.
    • Engine is at cranking: 6 - 14 V
    • Ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON": 0 - 1 V

Is it in good condition? 		 Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Repair or replace defective parts or wire harness.
