DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Check DTC.

Is there DTC(s) other than P0139 and P013E? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC(s). Go to Step 3.
3  HO2S signal circuit and ground circuit check 
  1. Check "A3" and "A4" circuits according to Step 3 under DTC P0137/P0138  .

Are they in good condition? 		 Go to Step 4. Repair or replace defective wire.
4  DTC recheck 
  1. Replace HO2S, see A/F SENSOR AND HO2S REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure and check DTC.

Is DTC P0139 and/or P013E still detected? 		 Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . End.
