Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed? |
Go to Step 2. |
Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK . |
| 2 |
TP sensor power supply circuit check
- Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
- Disconnect connector from throttle body assembly.
- Check for proper terminal connection to throttle body assembly connector.
- If connections are OK, push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
- Check that voltage between "C1" and "C4" circuits is 5 V.
Is it in good condition? |
Go to Step 5. |
Go to Step 3. |
| 3 |
TP sensor ground circuit check
- Check that voltage between "C1" circuit and ground: 5 V
Is it in good condition? |
Repair or replace "C4" circuit. If this DTC is detected again, replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
. |
Go to Step 4. |
| 4 |
TP sensor power supply circuit check
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
- Disconnect "C01" and "E01" connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "C01" and "E01" connectors.
- If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "C1" circuit: less than 1 Ω
- Resistance of "C1" circuit between throttle body assembly connector and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "C1" circuit terminal and each terminal at throttle body assembly connector: infinity
- Voltage of "C1" circuit: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition? |
Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |
| 5 |
TP sensor (main) signal circuit check
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
- Disconnect "C01" and "E01" connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "C01" and "E01" connectors.
- If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "C2" circuit: less than 1 Ω
- Resistance of "C2" circuit between throttle body assembly connector and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "C2" circuit terminal and each terminal at throttle body assembly connector: infinity
- Voltage of "C2" circuit: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 6. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |
| 6 |
TP sensor check
- Check TP sensor for performance, see ELECTRIC THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
.
Is it in good condition? |
Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
. |
Replace throttle body assembly, see THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
