DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

1	Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?	Go to Step 2.	Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2	Purge line check Visually check purge line for connection, leakage, clogging and deterioration. Are they in good condition?	Go to Step 3.	Repair or replace.
3	EVAP canister purge valve performance check Check EVAP canister purge valve for performance, see EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE INSPECTION . Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 4.	Replace EVAP canister purge valve, see THROTTLE BODY AND INTAKE MANIFOLD COMPONENTS .
4	EVAP canister purge valve circuit check Check EVAP canister purge valve circuit according to Step 2 through 3 under DTC P0443 . Is it in good condition?	Go to Step 5.	Repair or replace defective circuit.
5	EVAP system check Check the following parts for clogging. EVAP canister EVAP canister air suction filter EVAP system passage EVAP vent valve in EVAP leak check module Are they in good condition?	Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .	Clean, repair or replace defective part.
