DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition Trouble area
P0131: O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Sensor 1)
This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met.
  • Output voltage of A/F sensor signal circuit (+) is lower than 1.6 V for 5 sec.
  • Output voltage of A/F sensor signal circuit (-) is lower than 0.7 V for 5 sec.

(2 D/C detection logic)
  • A/F sensor and/or its circuit
  • ECM
P0132: O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Sensor 1)
This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met.
  • Output voltage of A/F sensor signal circuit (+) is higher than 2.8 V for 5 sec.
  • Output voltage of A/F sensor signal circuit (-) is higher than 2.7 V for 5 sec.

(2 D/C detection logic)
P0134: O2 Sensor No Activity Detected (Sensor 1)
Impedance of A/F sensor element is higher than 50 Ω for 20 sec. even if sensor heater is turned on for 20 sec.
(2 D/C detection logic)
P2237: O2 Sensor Positive Current Control Circuit/Open
Impedance of A/F sensor element is higher than 500 Ω for 15 sec. even if A/F sensor heater is turned on for 20 sec.
(2 D/C detection logic)
