DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Throttle actuator control relay check 
  1. Check throttle actuator control relay, see CONTROL RELAY INSPECTION .

Is it in good condition? 		 Go to Step 3. Replace throttle actuator control relay.
3  Throttle actuator control relay drive circuit check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "C01" and "E01" connectors.
  3. Check for proper terminal connection to "C01", "E01" and throttle body assembly connectors.
  4. Check that resistance of "A3" circuit is infinity between "A3" circuit and ground.

Is it in good condition? 		 Go to Step 4. Repair or replace defective wire harness.
4  Throttle actuator power supply circuit check 
  1. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
  2. Check that voltage of "A4" circuit is 0 - 1 V.

Is it in good condition? 		 Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Repair or replace defective wire harness.
