DTC Check Is there any DTC(s) other than P0137 and P0138? |
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. |

HO2S signal circuit and ground circuit check
- Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
- Disconnect "C01", "E01" and HO2S connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "C01", "E01" and HO2S connectors.
- If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A3" and "A4" circuits: less than 1 Ω
- Resistance of "A3" and "A4" circuits between HO2S connector and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A3" circuit terminal and each terminal at HO2S connector: infinity
- Resistance between "A4" circuit terminal and each terminal at HO2S connector: infinity
- Voltage of "A3" and "A4" circuits: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 4. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Exhaust system and air intake system check
- Check exhaust system and air intake system for clogging or leak.
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 5. |
Repair or replace defective part. |

HO2S heater circuit check
- Check "A1" and "A2" circuits according to Step 2 through Step 3 under DTC P0037/P0038

Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 6. |
Repair or replace defective part. |

DTC recheck
- Replace HO2S, see A/F SENSOR AND HO2S REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Perform DTC confirmation procedure and check DTC.
Is DTC P0137 or P0138 still detected? |
Replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
