Desiccant Removal And Installation

Removal
1. Recover refrigerant from A/C system referring to "Recovery" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
2. Remove condenser assembly (1).
3. Remove circlip (2), and then remove filter cap (3) from receiver (5).
4. Remove desiccant (4).






Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
- Do not take out desiccant from plastic bag until just before inserting it into receiver.
- Install new desiccant, new O-ring and new filter cap.
- Apply specified compressor oil to O-ring.

: Compressor oil 99000-99022-00E (Compressor oil (DH-PS, 250cc))

- Evacuate and charge A/C system referring to "Evacuation" and "Charge" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
