DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Registration data check 
  1. Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch turned OFF.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  3. Check registered VIN data referring to REGISTERED VIN DATA CHECK .

Is registered VIN data correct? 		 Go to Step 3. Resister correct VIN data to ECM referring to "VIN REGISTRATION ".
3  DTC recheck 
  1. Clear DTC.
  2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure, and recheck DTC.

Is DTC P0630 still indicated? 		 Go to Step 4. End.
4  Troubleshooting of other DTC(s) detected at the same time  .
Is other DTC(s) detected together? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
