Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Removal and Installation: Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following.

• Tighten new ECT sensor to specified torque.

  Tightening torque 

  ECT sensor (a): 22 N.m (2.2 kg-m, 16.5 lbf-ft)

• Refill cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM FLUSHING .
• Check for coolant leakage from ECT sensor with engine running.
