OPERATION

DTC P2610
Monitor execution Continuous
Monitoring Duration Monitor 1,2: Only one test per key cycle completed
Monitor 3: 5 failure counter
Monitor 4: 6 sec. after ECU initialization only
ENABLE CONDITIONS

Monitor 1: 
Ignition switch position: Key-on or engine off soak time < 10 sec.
Monitor 2: 
Power down mode/ECU sleep mode active
(Engine off soak time >= 10 sec. and ignition switch position: key-off)
Monitor 3: 
Engine speed 560 RPM -
Monitor 4: 
ECM completely powered down since previous drive cycle True
TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS

P2610: 
Monitor 1: 
Error counter based on failures >= 3 count Failures: Checking for SPI error and Clock deviations via SPI
Monitor 2: 
Hardware tests performed test for overflow/limit to maximum: soak time > 45,800 sec.
Monitor 3: 
Difference between reference clock time and engine off clock time > 2 sec.
Monitor 4: 
Synchronization time (reference clock vs. engine off timer) > 6 sec.
