1	Front Differential Carrier Assembly CAUTION: Low bearing pre-load will cause premature failure of the front differential drive pinion gear. CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE . If the turning torque is not within specifications, the transfer gear assembly and differential bearing thrust washer is incorrect and must be corrected. Refer to FRONT DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE PINION GEAR BEARING THRUST WASHER AND FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BEARING WASHER MEASUREMENT . Use a dial or beam torque wrench with DT-47793 differential rotating tool to measure turning torque. Tightening torque 14-22 N.m (10-16 lb ft) Special Tools DT-47793 Differential Rotating Tool For equivalent regional tools, refer to SPECIAL TOOLS - AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 6T70/6T75 .
