Circuit/System Verification

- Verify DTC P0563 is set as current.
- If the DTC is history, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM TEST .
- Engine running, record the voltage at the battery terminals. Observe the scan tool ECM Ignition 1 signal parameter. Voltages should not differ by more than 2 volts.
- If greater than the specified value, replace the ECM.
