Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine running for at least 1 minute.
  2. Ignition OFF for 30 seconds.
  3. Ignition ON, verify that DTC P0602 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set, program the transmission control module (TCM). If the DTC resets, replace the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly.
  4. Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. DTCs P0601, P0603, P0604, and P062F should not set.
    • If a DTC sets, replace the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly.
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
