Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify that No immobilizer or automatic transmission DTCs are set that would cause the ECM not to enable engine starting.
  2. Clear the DTCs from the ECM. Turn the ignition key to the start position. The engine should crank.
  3. Verify that all three Starter Relay Ckt Short and Open Test Status scan tool parameters are OK or Not Run.
  4. Verify that DTCs P0615, P0616, and P0617 are not set.
