Installation Procedure

Install the drive belt idler pulley.
Position generator in place then install the generator bolts.

CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Tighten the generator and idler pulley bolt in sequence shown.
Tightening torque

Tighten the generator and drive belt idler pulley bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) .

Install the battery cable.
Install the battery cable boot.

Connect the generator electrical connector (1).
Install the drive belt. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT .
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION AND CONNECTION .
