Removal Procedure

Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT REPLACEMENT .
Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

Release the clips (1) on the air cleaner lower half.
Open and rotate the air cleaner upper half.
Remove the air cleaner element.
