Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate window into the opening of the liftgate. Refer to ADHESIVE INSTALLATION OF STATIONARY WINDOWS (WINDSHIELD)  or ADHESIVE INSTALLATION OF STATIONARY WINDOWS (LIFTGATE) .
  2. Connect the liftgate window defogger electrical connectors.
  3. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT (UPPER) and LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT (LOWER) .
  4. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  5. Close the liftgate.
