Transmission Control Module (TCM) Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- If the vehicle is equipped with air bag system, disable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM (Advanced Air Bag System) or DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM (Except Advanced Air Bag).
- Remove glove box.
- Disconnect connectors from TCM (1).
- Remove TCM by removing its nuts.
