NAVIGATION UNIT DOOR MAKES NOISE WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING

CONDITION:

When the navigation unit lid is opening or closing, a grinding sound can be heard.

CAUSE:

The pivot spring is vibrating on the pivot shaft when the door is opening or closing.

CORRECTION:

Apply a small amount of grease with a small brush to the spring pivot shaft. See below.
