Starting Motor Removal and Installation: N32A: Removal

  1. Remove bank-2 exhaust manifold, see EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (N32A) .
  2. Remove knock sensor, see KNOCK SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect magnetic switch lead wire (1) and starting motor cable (2) from starting motor.
  4. Remove starting motor mounting bolts (3).
  5. Remove starting motor (4).
