Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation: Removal
- Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
- Loosen belt tensioner by turning tensioner (1) clockwise.CAUTION: N32A:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 80 N.m (8.2 kgf-m, 59.0 lbf-ft).
J24B:
Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 59 N.m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft). - While keeping tensioner in the loose position remove accessory drive belt (2).
