Power Balance Test

- With ignition switch turned off, connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1).
Special Tool
(A): SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT)
- Clear DTC, see DTC CLEARANCE .
- Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- Run engine at specified idle speed, and then select "Active Test" mode on scan tool.
- Turn off each fuel injector, using SUZUKI scan tool.
- With each fuel injector turned off, confirm that engine speed falls lower than specified idle speed.
- When engine speed doesn't fall the same speed with each cylinder, check fuel injector circuit, see Fuel Injector Circuit Check .
