Radiator Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Drain coolant. See COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING .
  3. Drain A/T fluid (5 A/T model). See A/T FLUID CHANGE .
  4. Remove radiator inlet hose and outlet hose from radiator. See COOLING SYSTEM COMPONENTS .
  5. Remove oil hoses No. 3 and No. 4 from radiator (5 A/T model). See OIL COOLER HOSE AND PIPE COMPONENTS .
  6. Remove radiator cooling fan assembly. See RADIATOR COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove front bumper. See FRONT BUMPER COMPONENTS .
  8. Remove condenser bracket bolt from condenser.
  9. Remove radiator bracket. See COOLING SYSTEM COMPONENTS .
  10. Remove radiator from vehicle.
