EVAP Canister Purge Valve InspectionWARNING: Do not apply vacuum using your mouth; otherwise harmful fuel vapor can be breathed in.
CAUTION: Do not apply vacuum more than -67 kPa (-0.68 kgf/cm2, -9.72 psi, -0.67 bar); otherwise EVAP canister purge valve could be damaged.
1. With ignition switch turned to OFF, disconnect connector and vacuum hoses from EVAP canister purge valve.
2. Remove purge valve.
3. Check resistance between two terminals of purge valve (1).
If faulty condition is found, replace purge valve.
