TCM Branch Line Circuit Check

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step	Action	YES	NO
1	CHECK CONNECTOR Turn the ignition switch OFF. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal. Check the terminals and connectors of the A/T assembly for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side and connector side). Is the inspection result normal?	GO TO 2.	Repair the terminal and connector.
2	CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT Disconnect the connector of A/T assembly. Check the resistance between the A/T assembly harness connector terminals. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Is the measurement value within the specification?	GO TO 3.	Repair the TCM branch line.
3	CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT Remove the control valve with TCM. Refer to [CONTROL VALVE WITH TCM AND A/T FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2: ON-VEHICLE REPAIR ] Disconnect the connector of TCM. Check the continuity between the A/T assembly harness connector and TCM harness connector. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Is the inspection result normal?	GO TO 4.	Repair the harness between the A/T assembly harness connector and the TCM harness connector.
4	CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the TCM. Refer to [MAIN POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK ] Is the inspection result normal?	Replace the control valve with TCM. Refer to [CONTROL VALVE WITH TCM AND A/T FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2: ON-VEHICLE REPAIR ]	Error was detected in the TCM branch line.
