With SDT

Start engine (VDC switch OFF).
Read "VHCL SPEED SE" in "Data list" mode with SDT. The vehicle speed on SDT should exceed 10 km/h (6 MPH) when rotating wheels with suitable gear position.
If NG, go to [P0500 VSS ].

If OK, go to following step.
Select "Data list" mode with SDT.
Warm engine up to normal operating temperature.

Maintain the following conditions for at least 60 consecutive seconds.

COOLAN TEMP/S	More than 70°C (158°F)

Selector lever	Neutral position (M/T) Except P or N position (A/T)
PW/ST SIGNAL	OFF
