SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP ACTIVE TEST
- With SDT
Check "THEFT IND" in "Active test" mode with SDT.
- Without SDT
- Disconnect BCM.
- Check voltage between BCM harness connector M18 terminal 23 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal? |
Security indicator lamp is OK. |
GO TO 2 |

SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP CHECK
Check security indicator lamp condition.
Is the inspection result normal? |
GO TO 3 |
Replace security indicator lamp. |

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM and security indicator lamp connector.
- Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M18 terminal 23 and combination meter connector (B) M24 terminal 39.

23 - 39: Continuity should exist.
- 4. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M18 terminal 23 and ground.
23 - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
Is the inspection result normal? |
Check the following: |
Repair or replace harness. |
- 10A fuse [No. 19, located in fuse block (J/B)]
- Harness for open or short between security indicator lamp and fuse
