Generator: Removal and Installation - VQ40DE Models: Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to [RADIATOR: EXPLODED VIEW ]
- Remove the drive belt. Refer to [DRIVE BELTS: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ]
- Remove generator stay, using power tools.
- Remove the generator upper bolt, using power tools.
- Disconnect the generator harness connectors.
- Remove the generator.
