Preliminary Procedures

Remove the right rear corner garnish molding. Refer to BODY REAR CORNER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT .
Remove the right center pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT .
Lower the rear of the headliner as needed. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT .
Remove the IP compartment. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT .
Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT .

Antenna Cable
Procedure

Disconnect all electrical/antenna connections.
When the original antenna is wrapped in the vehicle wiring harness perform the following steps:
- Cut both ends off the original antenna cable.
- Route the new antenna next to the vehicle wiring harness and secure with tie straps.
