Removal Procedure

It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT .

Depress the tab on the side of the control module.
With the tab depressed, slide the sunroof control module toward the sunroof motor. This will release the control module from the sunroof module.

Remove the control module from the sunroof module and disconnect the electrical connector.
