Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the steering gear. Refer to STEERING GEAR REPLACEMENT 
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Steering Gear Housing, Steering Gear Pipe, And Fittings

  2. Disconnect the steering gear pipe fittings (2) from the steering gear housing and remove the steering gear pipe (1). Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

  3. Disconnect the steering gear pipe fittings (2) from the gear housing and remove the steering gear pipe (1). Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
