CONDITION
If the BCM connectors are not installed in the correct order, damage to the BCM may occur. Other systems controlled by the BCM may also become inoperative or intermittent.
APPROPRIATE ACTION
Disconnect the battery negative terminal before removing any BCM connectors. First disconnect all BCM connectors except the light blue C-3 ground connector. Then disconnect the light blue C-3 ground connector last. When installing the BCM, connect all connectors before the light blue C-3 ground connector. Reconnect the battery negative terminal after all connectors to the BCM are connected.
