Component Testing

  1. Measure for 7-12 ohms between the terminals of the CMP actuator solenoid.
    • If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the CMP actuator solenoid.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal of the CMP actuator solenoid and the CMP actuator solenoid housing.
    • If less than infinite resistance, replace the CMP actuator solenoid valve.
