Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Heater Inlet Pipe Housing Bolts

Install a NEW heater inlet pipe housing seal.
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the heater inlet pipe housing bolts (1).
Tightening torque

Tighten the heater inlet housing bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the heater inlet hose (1) to the heater inlet pipe.
Refill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING (LY7 GE 47716 FILL) or COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING (LY7 STATIC FILL) .
