Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hatchback door.
  2. Remove the luggage compartment rear trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback) or Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback) .
  3. Remove the screws that secure the lock striker.
  4. Disconnect the cable from the lock striker.
