Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Intake Manifold Bracket Bolts And Bracket

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the intake manifold bracket bolts and bracket.
    3. Fig 2: Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector

  3. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.
  4. Remove the Knock sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the knock sensor.
