Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the KS with the bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the KS bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the KS electrical connector.

Install the intake manifold bracket and bolts.
Tighten:
- Tighten the bracket upper bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Tighten the bracket lower bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
Connect the negative battery cable.
