Fuel filler cap check
- Check fuel filler cap is the SUZUKI genuine parts and tightness.
- Check the fuel filler cap gasket for uneven filler neck imprint, foreign material pinched and damage.
Is the result satisfactory?

Go to Step 3. |
Replace the fuel filler cap with new genuine one. |

Pressurization test
- Perform the pressurization test referring to EVAP LEAK CHECK SYSTEM LEAK INSPECTION

Is any leak detected?

Go to Step 4. |
Go to Step 7. |

Smoke test
- Perform the smoke test referring to EVAP LEAK CHECK SYSTEM SMOKE TEST
.
Is there any leak part?
|
Repair the leak and then go to Step 3 again. |
Go to Step 5. |

EVAP canister purge valve check
- Check EVAP canister purge valve referring to EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE AND ITS CIRCUIT INSPECTION

Is check result satisfactory?

Go to Step 6. |
Replace EVAP canister purge valve. |

EVAP vent valve and EVAP leak check pressure sensor check
- Check EVAP vent valve and EVAP leak check pressure sensor in EVAP leak check module referring to EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION
.
Is check result satisfactory?

Return to Step 3. |
Replace EVAP leak check module. |

- Check EVAP vent valve and EVAP leak check pressure sensor in EVAP leak check module referring to EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION

Is check result satisfactory?

Go to Step 8. |
Replace EVAP leak check module. |

EVAP leak check
- Replace EVAP leak check module.
- Connect scan tool to DLC and clear DTC.
- Run engine at idle for 10 minutes.
- Confirm that DTC is no detected.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position and leave for 6 hours.
- Recheck DTC.
Is DTC P0456 detected?

Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. |
