DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE: Before this trouble shooting is performed, read the precautions for DTC troubleshooting by referring to PRECAUTIONS FOR DTC TROUBLESHOOTING .

1	Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?	Go to Step 2.	Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2	Throttle actuator circuit check Disconnect connectors from electric throttle body assembly and ECM with ignition switch turned OFF. Check for proper terminal connection to electric throttle body assembly and ECM connectors. If connections are OK, check that throttle actuator motor circuit is as follows. Wiring harness resistance of each throttle actuator motor drive circuit (1 and 2) is less than 3 Ω Insulation resistance between each throttle actuator motor drive circuit (1 and 2) and vehicle body ground is Infinity Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between throttle actuator motor drive terminal (1) and each other terminal at electric throttle body connector Circuit voltage of each throttle actuator motor drive circuit (1 and 2) is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch turned ON. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Are they in good condition?	Go to Step 3.	Repair or replace throttle actuator motor drive circuit(s).
3	Electric throttle body assembly check Check electric throttle body for performance by referring to ELECTRIC THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION . Is it in good condition?	Substitute a known good ECM and recheck.	Repair or replace electric throttle body assembly.
