ECM CONNECTOR SPECIFICATIONS

1 WHT Power source for ECM internal memory 10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
2 BLU/BLK Main power supply 10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
3 BLU/BLK Main power supply 10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
4 BLU/RED Output of throttle actuator (-) 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON and accelerator pedal is at fully depressed position after warmed up engine. Output signal are duty pulse. Duty ratio varies depending on throttle valve opening and accelerator pedal position.

Refer to REFERENCE WAVEFORM NO.25  and REFERENCE WAVEFORM NO.26 .
Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is at idle position after warmed up engine.
5 BLU/YEL Output of throttle actuator (+) 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is at idle position after warmed up engine. Output signal are duty pulse. Duty ratio varies depending on throttle valve opening and accelerator pedal position.

Ignition switch is at ON and accelerator pedal is at fully depressed position after warmed up engine.
6 BLU/ORN Throttle actuator control relay output 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
7 GRN Power supply of throttle actuator drive circuit 10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
8 BLK/WHT (BLK/YEL*1) Ignition switch signal 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at OFF position. -
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position.
9 WHT/RED CAN communication line (active high signal) *2.5 - 4.5 V
Refer to REFERENCE WAVEFORM NO.27 .
Ignition switch is at ON position. CAN communication signal is serial communication signal pulse. Pulse signal displayed with a regular frequency varies depending on engine condition.

11 PNK/BLU Clock signal for immobilizer coil antenna (If equipped) 10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. For details, refer to INSPECTION OF IMMOBILIZER CONTROL MODULE (ICM) AND ITS CIRCUIT .
12 GRY/RED Output of 5 V power source for EVAP leak check pump 4 - 5 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
13 BRN/YEL EVAP canister air (vent) valve control signal 0 - 1 V Operate EVAP canister air (vent) valve by using "Output Test" of SUZUKI scan tool. -
4.5 - 5.5 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
14 RED/YEL Radiator cooling fan relay No.3 output 10 - 14 V
  • Ignition switch is at ON position and engine coolant temperature is below 100°C (212 ° F).
  • A/C switch is at ON position while engine is running and A/C refrigerant pressure is below 1300 kPa (188.5 psi).

  • Ignition switch is at ON position and engine coolant temperature is 102.5°C (203°F) or higher.
  • A/C switch is at ON position while engine is running and A/C refrigerant pressure is 1600 kPa (232 psi) or higher.

15 RED/BLK Radiator cooling fan relay No.1 output 10 - 14 V
  • Ignition switch is at ON position and engine coolant temperature is below 95°C (203 ° F).
  • A/C switch is at ON position while engine is running and A/C refrigerant pressure is below 300 kPa (43.5 psi).

0 - 2 V
  • Ignition switch is at ON position and engine coolant temperature is 97.5°C (207.5°F) or higher.
  • A/C switch is at ON position while engine is running and A/C refrigerant pressure is 340 kPa (49.3 psi) or higher.

16 BLU Main power supply relay output 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at OFF position. -
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position.
17 WHT/BLU CAN communication line (active low signal) *0.5 - 2.5 V

Ignition switch is at ON position. CAN communication signal is serial communication signal pulse. Pulse signal displayed with a regular frequency varies depending on engine condition.

20 GRY/BLK Ground for EVAP leak check pump Below 0.3 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
21 BRN EVAP leak check pressure sensor signal 3.9 V Ignition switch is at ON position. EVAP leak check module pressure sensor value is 100.33 kPa.
22 BLU/WHT EVAP leak check pump control signal *0.8 - 1.5 V
Refer to REFERENCE WAVEFORM NO.28  and REFERENCE WAVEFORM NO.29 .
Operate EVAP leak check module motor by "MISC. Test" of SUZUKI scan tool. -

Ignition switch is at ON position.
23 RED Radiator cooling fan relay No.2 output 10 - 14 V
  • Ignition switch is at ON position and engine coolant temperature is below 100°C (212 ° F).
  • A/C switch is at ON position while engine is running and A/C refrigerant pressure is below 1300 kPa (188.5 psi).

24 WHT/GRN Fuel pump relay output 0 - 2.5 V For 2 seconds from the time ignition switch is at ON position or while engine is running. -
10 - 14 V 2 seconds after ignition switch is at ON position or while engine is at stop.
25 WHT Output for 5 V power source of APP sensor (main) 4.5 - 5.5 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
26 WHT/BLU APP sensor signal (main) 0.70 - 0.80 V Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is not depressed after warmed up engine. Output signal varies linearly depending on the accelerator pedal position.
3.33 - 4.07 V Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is at fully depressed position after warmed up engine.
27 ORN Ground for APP sensor (main) Below 0.3 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
28 YEL/RED Fuel level sensor signal 0 - 6 V Ignition switch is at ON position. (Voltage varies depends on fuel level.) Output signal varies linearly depending on the fuel level.
29 PPL/WHT Serial communication line of DLC 8 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
30 GRN/WHT Brake light switch signal 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position and brake pedal is not depressed. -
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position and brake pedal is depressed. -
31 BLK/WHT Cruise control main switch signal (if equipped) 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position and cruise control main switch is not pushed. For details, refer to INSPECTION OF CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT .
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position and cruise control main switch is kept in push.
32 YEL/GRN Brake pedal position switch signal for cruise control system (if equipped) 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position and brake pedal is depressed. -
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position and brake pedal is not depressed. -
33 ORN/BLU Output for 5 V power source of APP sensor (sub) 4.5 - 5.5 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -
34 BLU/GRN APP sensor signal (sub) 0.37 - 0.38 V Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is not depressed after warmed up engine. Output signal varies linearly depending on the accelerator pedal position.
1.66 - 2.03 V Ignition switch is at ON position and accelerator pedal is at fully depressed position after warmed up engine.
35 BLU/YEL Ground for APP sensor (sub) Below 0.3 V Ignition switch is at ON position. -

37 PNK A/C compressor relay output (if equipped) 0 - 1 V A/C switch is at OFF position and blower selector is at OFF position while engine is running. -
10 - 14 V A/C switch is at ON position and blower selector is other than OFF position while engine is running. -
38 BLK/YEL Ground for cruise control command switch (if equipped) Below 1.3 V Ignition switch is at ON position. For details, refer to INSPECTION OF CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT .
39 LT GRN Cruise control command switch signal (if equipped) 4.5 - 5.5 V Ignition switch is at ON position and cruise control command switch are not pushed.
40 BLU Clutch pedal position switch signal for cruise control system (if equipped) 0 - 1 V Ignition switch is at ON position and clutch pedal is depressed.
10 - 14 V Ignition switch is at ON position and clutch pedal is not depressed.
