Third Gear Band Apply Tube Installation

Install the 2 third gear band apply tube O-ring seals (53).
Install the third gear band apply tube (52).
If needed, lightly seat the third gear band apply tube into the transmission case assembly with a soft mallet.

Install the third gear band apply tube retainer (51).
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 14 mm third gear band apply tube retainer bolts (50).
Tightening torque

Tighten the third gear band apply tube retainer bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in) .
