Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP purge solenoid.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the EVAP purge solenoid bracket bolt (3).

    Tightening torque 

    Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). 

  3. Connect the EVAP pipe quick connect fitting (2) to the EVAP purge solenoid. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .

  4. Connect the EVAP pipe quick connect fitting (1) to the EVAP purge solenoid. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (4) to the EVAP purge solenoid.
  6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .
