WARNING: Refer to BRAKE DUST CAUTION . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE . Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE . Remove the disc brake backing plate. Refer to REAR DISC BRAKE BACKING PLATE REPLACEMENT .
1	Park Brake Cable Eye Procedure Using the J 37043, release the locking fingers on the park brake cable. Remove the park brake cable from the actuator lever. Special Tool J 37043 Parking Brake Cable Release Tool
2	Parking Brake Actuator Procedure Adjust the park brake. Refer to PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT .
