Preliminary Procedure Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to INFLATABLE RESTRAINT STEERING WHEEL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
1	Steering Wheel Nut CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE . Tightening torque 37 N.m (27 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Remove the steering wheel using puller J 1859-A and puller legs J 42578. Make an alignment mark to note the relationship between the steering wheel and the steering shaft. The marks will be needed to align the wheel during installation. Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
Remove the steering wheel using puller J 1859-A and puller legs J 42578.
Make an alignment mark to note the relationship between the steering wheel and the steering shaft. The marks will be needed to align the wheel during installation.
