Measure the end thickness of shift fork and replace if below limit.

Specifications:

• The standard shift fork end thickness for the low speed shift fork is 8.7 mm (0.343 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the low speed shift fork is 8.1 mm (0.319 in).
• The standard shift fork end thickness for the high speed shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the high speed shift fork is 7.2 mm (0.283 in).
• The standard shift fork end thickness for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.2 mm (0.283 in).
